Trustees
River Kids is governed by a Board of Trustees; their job is to oversee the Charity to make it sure it compliant with all aspects of the law and applicable regulations. The Board meet once per month to discuss matters and provide guidance/support/direction to the staff of River Kids, as needed. Trustees are recruited due to their skills and knowledge within not only the local community but specialisms i.e. Risk/Compliance/Law/HR.

River Kids also has a number of Associate Trustees; whom whilst have a specific skillset are not members of the Board and do not carry voting rights. River Kids’ aim is to diversify the Board as much as possible to ensure it is not overly governed from a particular sector.
